I was asked on Twitter to throw out some recommendations on Pumas for men. Well that’s a loaded question – how can I just pick a few? I can’t. However, I did go through ShopStyle.com and create a couple of looks with some of the Pumas I’d love to see on men.
| I really love some of the Hi’s that Puma has released lately. Their collaborations with Mihara and McQueen are very nice. The new collection from Alexander McQueen is classy and stylish. I really love the brown ones in this collection and think any man could have these in his closet and use them on a night out or even on casual Friday. The Mihara’s are unique. The Sky Hi’s in the middle are just a great look by Puma. I saw these in person and they somehow remind me of high tops from back in the day (a LONG time ago) but yet still look modern. | |
| Trying to pick just a handful of shoes for this look was impossible. However, I considered the styles that I think are essential for anyone buying a pair of Pumas. Every man should own a pair of Clyde Scripts. They are THE Puma shoe to have. Whether it is one from the Undefeated collection or just a classic black the Clyde remains the best Puma design. Second to the Clydes are the Suede Classics. The colorway options are fantastic and, again, Puma does suede better than any other sneaker company. The Basket style is another favorite. I didn’t list Ligas or Romas because I didn’t have enough space. |
A man in Pumas is a well-dressed man (in my opinion). So go pick yourself up a pair.
